Coconut Almond Granola (GF)

INGREDIENTS
3 cups rolled oats
½ cup maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp almond extract
¼ cup slivered almonds
¼ cup unsweetened coconut flakes
INSTRUCTIONS
1). Preheat the oven to 375.
2). In a bowl mix the oats, maple syrup, and the vanilla and almond extract and mix well to combine.
3). Spread the mixture out onto a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes, then pull it out and carefully mix it and re spread it out and place back into the oven and bake for another 10 minutes.
4). Allow the granola to cool then mix in the slivered almonds and shredded coconut. Store in an airtight container.
Makes 3.5 cups
NOTES
Pro Mommy Tip:
*You can use this as a topping for cereal, nice cream, oatmeal, yogurt, and you can also add it to the earth mix for a yummy trail mix!!!
*Try other add-ins like dried blueberries, dried cranberries, or dried strawberries….Kids love the variety!
