Vegan Baked Apple Crisp

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium sized apple sliced
  • 1tbsp lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Crumble Topping:

  • ¼ cup rolled oats
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp almond extract
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 400. In a bowl add the sliced apple and top with the lemon juice, vanilla, and ground cinnamon.  Mix to coat well.  Then in a pie dish layer the sliced apples. In a separate bowl, combine the rolled oats, cinnamon, vanilla/ almond extract, and the maple syrup. Mix well, then sprinkle the crumble topping over the sliced apples as evenly as possible. Place in the oven and bake for 20 minutes.  Allow to cool slightly before serving.
