INGREDIENTS
5 medium yukon gold potatoes, cooked and mashed (about 2 ½ cups mashed)
1 ½ tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp of salt (or to taste)
2 tsp crushed rosemary
Oil spray (optional, for waffle iron)
INSTRUCTIONS
1). Plug in your waffle iron to heat it up, then move on to preparing your potatoes and mashing them. Once you have mashed your potatoes, add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
2). You may lightly spray your waffle iron if it likes to stick, then using a ½ cup measuring cup, scoop up a ½ cup of mashed potatoes. Take it into your hands and flatten it into a small pancake then place it on the waffle iron. Once you have all of your pancakes on the waffle iron then close it and let the waffles cook for 8-10 minutes.
3). Make sure you are using a waffle iron and not a belgian waffle iron, the belgain iron will not work.
4) Once they are done, enjoy with some ketchup, cheese sauce or gravy. These store great in the fridge or freezer and can be reheated in a toaster.

Looks wonderful!
Which waffle iron do you use? Thanks. I’d like to buy one,
I toast my waffles in my air frier and use them in place of bread slices……also great if homemade dehydrated veggie crumbles are added to the batter, getting more veggies into my husband…I like mine topped with homemade chia jam for a snack.
